With the end of the year festivities’ wrapping up comes more gaming news trickling into my inbox. First up to bat, and recently enjoying its own holiday update, Square Enix and Io-Interactive’s popular episodic Hitman title is starting the New Year off with a… BANG! (Get it… pew pew pew? I know… punny right!)

After Agent 47’s latest adventures in the sunny coastal town of Sapienza during his “sweet sixteenth” two weeks ago, the magnificent bald-headed bastard finds himself in Thailand chasing after the next target in the seventeenth Elusive Target event.

Players are tasked with tracking down and eliminating a man by the name of Wen Ts’ai, aka ‘The Food Critic’. Per usual, you’ll have a fixed amount of time, and only one chance at staking out the area, locating the enemy, assassinate him and then vacating the area unseen, post haste.

This sadistic foodie has a penchant for utterly destroying many chefs’ careers, and sometimes their very lives. Starting today, December 30^th, assassins will have 168 hours to accomplish their mission, which takes place at the luxurious Himmapan Hotel set in Bangkok.

I know you hate to dine and dash, but you’ve work to do, so do what you do best Agent 47, order up some delicious Tom Yum for starters, show this glorified Yelper to a good time, and then get that Pad Tai to go, you’re on the clock and times a wasting.
