Halo Wars 2: Not Your Granddad’s RTS

Who needs old-man games like Age of Empires 2 and Rise of Nations, where you’d spend plenty of time trying to build a massive fortress to defend against the marauding hordes of enemy units, and feel a satisfying crush of victory? Sure, Halo Wars 2 has those traditional base-building, resource-collecting, and unit-smashing game modes, but Creative Assembly and 343 Industries are aiming somewhere new, with Blitz, the new mode featured within the latest Halo Wars 2 ViDoc.

Within, you get your first glimpse at perhaps the future of all multiplayer games: card-collecting. Before descending into the trenches and fighting off waves of Remnant or Human forces, you select a leader, and build a deck to suit their abilities and unique cards. There’s tactical, strategic, and powerful leaders, and perhaps a mix of all three. Striking some balance between a traditional RTS and mobile CCGs, Halo Wars 2’s Blitz mode promises, at the very least, to be different.

Halo Wars 2 launches February 21st, 2017.

So I RTS a lot, but I won't be getting this unless I can play it in Win7.
I'll let you know how that goes :)
