Rendered in glorious 4K, BioWare’s next outing in the excellent sci-fi FPS/RPG series Mass Effect looks to be shaping up quite nicely. Premiered alongside the revealed PS4 Pro today at a PlayStation event, the pre-alpha tech footage for Mass Effect: Andromeda shown above showcased dynamic lighting, particle effects, facial renderings and animations, and more technical wonders, all made possible as part of the Frostbite engine.

Slated to come out sometime early next year, BioWare is promising a new trailer to come on November 7th of this year, just two months away.
