Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks have released an exciting new gameplay trailer for the upcoming sequel to their critical acclaimed, award winning 2012 smash hit, Dishonored. Players once again reprise the role of the supernatural assassin, Corvo Attano, as he seeks revenge against the otherworldly usurper, Delilah, who has stolen the throne away from Corvo’s daughter, Empress Kaldwin.

Dishonored 2 opens up a whole new world of possibilities with the newly added playable character, Empress Emily Kaldwin. Players of course will still have the choice to play as the magical imbued Royal Protector, Corvo, as he stealthily slips from shadow to shadow in the mystical cyber-punk industrial Empire of the Isles.

The coastal city of Karnaca will test the players’ mettle as they utilize a plethora of brutal weapons, gadgets and a unique set of magical powers, blending them together for a devastatingly lethal combination. Play through each characters story, taking caution along the way as each choice has weight and can lead to a multitude of equally intriguing outcomes.

After watching the above trailer, as well as the previous one from GamesCom, I can’t help but climb aboard the ‘Hype-Train Express”, eagerly awaiting to once again jump into Corvo’s shoes and slay enemies with such grace, carrying out brutal melee executions moment after moment as I explore the beautifully crafted world within Dishonored 2.

With the release set to launch worldwide on November 11th, this will give players plenty of time to play Dishonored for the first time or to re-play it again and brush up on its story and reacquaint themselves to its amazing gameplay, as I plan to do myself soon enough.

I'll be starting my re-play of Dishonored right after I finally finish Deus Ex: Mankind Divded .... sometime in a month at the rate I'm going lol... my only issue with the first game was the gorgeous hand painted textures were pretty blurry and low resolution for the most part. I hope the sequel fixes that :D
