The mystical and untamed Clan of the Boar is the latest faction to be added to the hit Viking strategy game, Northgard. Developer Shiro Games introduces the new clan together with a host of fixes and improvements in the latest update to the game.

The Clan of the Boar possesses a wild but unrivaled understanding of the world. Forgotten by the other clans and only recently rediscovered, the ways of the reclusive Clan of the Boar are primitive but powerful. The Healer’s Hut is replaced with the Mender’s Hut, which provides a significant amount of lore when they are not healing. Each additional territory the Clan of the Boar controls increases the population limit, and they receive no penalties to happiness for non-upgraded houses.

This update also brings a host of other smaller improvements, including improved visuals for the mystical hawk Vedrfolnir, and minor bug fixes. Further details can be found in the latest patch notes.

Northgard was released on Steam Early Access on February 22nd 2017, and quickly became one of the most popular strategy games on the platform, being consistently featured as a global top seller in the weeks after launch.
