Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown VR Trailer

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was already looking pretty good but we’ve got to admit, it looks a cut above in VR – and that’s only from looking at a trailer. Imagine how many barf bags you’ll need if you actually play this thing with a VR headset. In addition to the obligatory fly-y shoot-y bit there’s also new footage of the hangar in VR with life-size planes proportionate to your view point so you can really appreciate just how massive a SU-27 really is.

Ace Combat 7 is due out sometime in 2018.

Who has never dreamed of being a pilot? All your childhood dreams can come true with ACE COMBAT® 7: SKIES UNKNOWN in VR where players are allowed to pilot within the cockpit! With an unparalleled realism they will be able to pilot and take the controls under real life conditions.

To showcase this unprecedented experience, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment reveals a new trailer to experience the heat of battle from a new perspective. This trailer also gives a glimpse of the aircraft hangar for the first time in VR allowing players to see their fighters in true-to-life scale.

Besides the realistic environment, ACE COMBAT® 7: SKIES UNKNOWN offers strategical gameplay with a multiple target lock as well as the possibility to attack enemies on the ground. These tactical features will challenge players’ flying skills!

ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN is scheduled for take-off in 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. PlayStation 4 players will be able to play the full campaign on the classic mode and an exclusive and dedicated experience with specific features developed for the Sony PlayStation®VR.
