Abigail Muscles His Way Into Street Fighter V

Abigail, a hulking monster of muscle from Final Fight, will be the next DLC character in Street Fighter V. Similar to Hugo, Abigail uses his unrivaled size and power to pressure opponents. With his armored charge, wall bounce combos, and command throw, his gameplay seems at home within Street Fighter, even if his sheer bulk looks a tad… freakish.

Unlike Hugo however, he doesn’t have the famous clap or butt tackle. Instead, he has a grounded overhead that goes over projectiles, and bounces the opponent into the air if it’s an EX. No details on how his V-Skill or V-trigger work yet, but the V-Skill appears to be a parry, while the V-trigger turns him red like Zangief, and speeds up his moves. Reception is mixed on this mountain of muscle. On one hand, he looks to play completely differently than anyone else currently on the roster, but… he looks so out of place.

Street Fighter has some crazy designs, just look at Oro or Sodom, but this guy was out of left field. Love him or hate him, you can see Abigail and his new stage on display for yourself on July 25th when he come out. He’s included in the season two character pass along with Akuma, Kolin, and Ed, or he’ll be available to purchase individually through fight money or real money.

Official Press Release

The Super Human Hot-Rodder Abigail Joins Street Fighter V As The Next Season 2 Character on 25th July

Abigail, the biggest lad in all of Metro City, is the next character to join Street Fighter V as part of the Season 2 Character Pass. Previously appearing in the classic Capcom beat ‘em up series Final Fight, Abigail now makes his way to Street Fighter on the 25th July, and brings with him a fearsome set of bulked biceps and a passion for all things car fashioned.

Every day is arms day for Abigail, and when he’s not busy cracking skulls he’s either driving a car or pretending to be one. Utilise the potency of Abigail’s considerable belly with the ‘Hungabee’ V-Skill, charge up your heavy punch through the ‘Max Power’ V-Trigger, or drive your opponent over the finish line with Abigail’s Critical Art.

Go full throttle in the arena as Abigail, when he joins Street Fighter V on the 25th July along with his Metro Bay Area stage, and Story and Premium Battle costumes.
