A Plague Tale: Requiem – 10 Minutes of Gameplay

Developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Entertainment have released 10 minutes of gameplay footage from A Plague Tale: Requiem, sequel to the fairly successful rat infested adventure subtitled Innocence. The game is coming to PC and consoles on 18 October 2022 and will be released day one on Game Pass.

A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the critically acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence by Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment, revealed an Extended Gameplay trailer during the Focus Showcase, complete with an official release date announcement for October 18 and pre-orders available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC!

A duo on the run that packs a punch

In a new extended gameplay sequence, follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them. Fortunately, the duo has many new tricks up their sleeve and doesn’t shy away from getting their hands dirty. Watch how it all plays out and get ready to embark on their heart-rending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world, and discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival.

The game releases October 18, pre-order now!

Since this gameplay reveal, pre-orders have officially started on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and a release date was announced for October 18 on all platforms. Players were also able to get a closer look at the Collector’s Edition in this short teaser.

Additionally, two tracks of the game’s soundtrack, composed by Olivier Derivière and featuring the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir were also heard during the countdown leading to the showcase. Players can buy digitally the two tracks here, directly from the composer.

Finally, PC players will be delighted to know that Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment are working with NVIDIA to add NVIDIA RTX features to A Plague Tale: Requiem including ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS. DLSS is NVIDIA’s critically-acclaimed AI-powered tech that boosts performance without compromising image quality.

A Plague Tale: Requiem will release October 18 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and in Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch.
