Experiment 101 has today revelaled their first game, titled BIOMUTANT. They’re calling it a Kung-Fu Fable. No, not Fable as in the game series but as in the story sense. Apparently you’ll be able to mix melee, shooting, and mutant powers in the combat system and mutate your character to change their abilities and the way they look. You can briefly see this in the trailer when the raccoon thing touches some yellow sludge and begins to change.

Crafting is also on the table, with gear being made up of several parts that players will be able to mix and match to create new equipment. Also of interest is the mention of exploration and vehicles, the open world will be explorable by foot, mech, jet-ski, air balloons, and unique area mounts.

There’s still no release date though Steam lists a vague 2018. Stay tuned for more info as we get it.
