Song Of Horror Teaser Trailer

Posted on 01 Nov 2017

Song Of Horror is hoping to walk in the shoes of the greats of third-person survival horror; Alone In The Dark and Resident Evil are both cited as inspiration for the upcoming game. Consider us intrigued. In the game you’ll help Daniel Noyer trying to solve a mystery threatening his existence, but there’ll also be 16 playable characters which might just be a whole new record for survival horror. There’ll also be permadeath, so looking after your horde of protagonists will be important.

The story is apparently influenced by Poe, Lovecraft, and M.R. James. The focus is on the narrative but the gameplay hasn’t been neglected either; The Presence is an AI capable of procedurally generating danger, there’s not much more info than that at the moment but it sounds like it works something like the Director from Left 4 Dead.

Song Of Horror has a renewed website and social media sites too but the game isn’t due until Sping 2018.
