The answer, by way of the image above; more than likely.
A listing on Square Enix’s official store earlier Thursday had a listing which seemed to all but confirm a release of PlatinumGames’s action RPG for roughly two weeks after the North American console release. The listing, which has since been taken down, also comes alongside the posting of Nier’s PC specifications over on a Japanese support article, with required hardware being fairly low, and even the recommended specs only cracking the GTX 980/Radeon RX 390 barrier.
With the optimization of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, it’s no wonder that Platinum has experience getting gorgeous-looking games to run on older hardware. Regardless, we’ll know more and post more about the eventual PC arrival of Nier as the story evolves.
