So, with annual day of Star Wars upon us tomorrow, it goes with no surprise that EA would grace us with some free items for the day.

First big thing is that for that day only Star Wars: Battlefront will be on Origin’s “Free day”, for 4 hours only, so you get to try out the latest game.

If you already own Battlefront however, logging in that day will give you 4,444 Credits to pay for anything you need, even if it’s that new scope for your DH-17. Jabba has also decided to give out something, in a rare display for a Hutt, spend 3,500 – 8,000 Credits and complete bounties to unlock the Bacta Bomb Star Card which is a throwable medkit to heal you and your allies.

Dialling the clock back 3,800 years to The Old Republic, the new 4.4 expansion comes out Tuesday, with a new story for subscribers, as well as general game improvements and also a new cartel pack, which the good people over at Dulfy has given us an over-view of what’s included.

Also, anyone can on the 4th play the first chapter in the “Knights of the Fallen Empire” story, but be forewarned, this will cause you to not be able to progress any pre-KOTFE story and you will lose all your current companions, except HK-51 and Treek if you bought them.

Log in before the end of the 4th to get a new pet Astromech droid that will follow you around, and can even guard your stronghold (note, it is advised that Astromech droids are not for actual defence) which will be delivered on the 5th. From the launch of 4.4 also get a week of double XP to help level up your character quicker, which is helpful for trying out a new class story in SWTOR, as some are very well written. Head on over to the May the Fourth website for more information of what is happening in The Old Republic.

Onto mobile gaming for Galaxy of Heroes where you have Double Drop Events where you can get in different game modes, such as the Cantina Battles, be sure to log in to get more items, even character shards. Also your first purchase of any Crystal Bundle you will receive 25% extra that can be used for Data Cards or Shipment Crates.

If all the is not enough then Steam is also having a Star Wars midweek sale so check that out. Now, get ready for a good day of fun throughout the Galaxy, and if you excuse me, I have a nice cup of dianogan tea.

The 4 hours thing is part of their Game Time Trials system. They put quite a lot on there, it's well worth keeping an eye on, along with their On The House thing. It's not as good as a full game, obviously, but it's still well worth keeping an eye on
