Keep It in the Family With Mafia III

Since Lincoln’s family by birth and his crime family were both cut down by the Italian mob before their prime, in Mafia III, he sets about developing a surrogate family.

In the latest installment of a developer diary put out by 2K Games, we get an idea for just what his allies can do for him, both on the streets of New Bordeaux, and above them too. I believe it was Gandhi who said that “an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind,” yet Clay doesn’t seem above developing his own violent crime syndicate to backfill the power vacuum left by the sudden “departure” of the Italians.

Also, just released is the newest episode from the Inside Look series. We’re shown some highlights that bridge the gap between Mafia II and III, recalling Vito and Joe’s time together in Empire Bay until entering the fray in New Bordeaux.

We’ll get to see how it all shakes up when Mafia III launches later this week, on October 7th.
