Ignite the Homefront Revolution

Another trailer has just launched for Homefront: The Revolution merely days after the last one. This one is more focused on the plotted revenge or “revolution” of the lesser people in this world as they attack the KPA. Really enhancing the feel of the world, the flow between the characters in the trailer shows constructive combat scenarios. With this, planning out attacks against big groups of the KPA seems to build up to a great time. Whether you’re doing it single player or co-op with a buddy, fights seem like a heck of a good time in this title.

Official Press Release

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios today revealed the unique ‘Hearts and Minds’ feature that powers player progression in Homefront®: The Revolution and released the latest gameplay trailer titled ‘Ignite.’

Playing as freedom fighter Ethan Brady, the ultimate goal in Homefront is to inspire the people to rise up against the brutal military occupation and ignite the revolution.

‘Hearts and Minds’ represents the state of uprising across the oppressed Yellow Zones of occupied Philadelphia, and will increase as the player performs acts of resistance, such as destroying KPA infrastructure.

The open world dynamically transforms around the player as Hearts and Minds increases – a once cowed civilian population will join the player in acts of defiance, and the entire Zone will evolve from a state of lockdown to open revolution on the streets.

That would make sense about the textures and visual fidelity but not for the animations.

Yeah I thought so also, stuff in it just seems a bit weird. The thing that annoyed me the most was the guy that got the molotov to the face didn't even catch on fire, just sorta dropped to the ground with fire around him. :/

Is it just me or does this trailer look bad? The animations look...off, the models/textures look much poorer than before, etc.
