Free-running through the ruins of a post-apocalyptic Earth doesn’t sound so bad, does it? Caracal Games feels the same, and offers just that in their first-person, open-world parkour game, Downward. With Earth ravaged by a mysterious calamity, and strange beasts, both elemental and otherworldly, now stalking about, you must navigate the walkways, treacherous paths, and dilapidated ruins of what’s left of our homeworld to discover what has happened to humanity, and to find out why.

Moving out of Early Access after its initial launch in late 2016, and now featuring three complete endings, plus a whole host of entirely explorable areas. Next up for Caracal Games is a full-fledged Linux release, plus a revamped demo, FPS improvements, and general bug fixing work. In the meantime, Downward can be picked up on Steam for $7.49 USD (25% off) until July 20th.
