Dark Souls Remastered Announced

Posted on 11 Jan 2018

The Dark Souls series may be “done” for now but that’s not going to stop Bandai Namco painting up the corpse and making it dance around for your sick pleasure, and that’s how we end up with Dark Souls Remastered. The remaster will feature ports to all the current platforms, and on PC, Playstation 4 Pro, and Xbox One X you’ll be able to enjoy it in 4K resolutions and 60FPS. The Switch will have to settle for 1080p 30FPS when hooked up to a TV. It remains to be seen whether developing for PC is the Dark Souls of Bandai Namco releases still too, as the original Dark Souls (and many game since) have had abysmal PC versions.

Expect Dark Souls Remastered on 25 May 2018.

The fact that the current consoles are literally PCs in a box...it'll still be a shit port, it's Bandai. And we'll love it anyway
