Gearbox and their advertising…this time it’s their Bulletstorm “Trailer” or whatever you wanna call that abomination. Lots of explosions, a wannabe Rihanna singer remixed with horrible dubstep music and some buzzwords to grab your attention, ah, just like the trailers from 2011, yay!
With 4K support and turbo frame-rates being two of the special features in the new Bulletstorm, I mean…what are turbo frame-rates Gearbox? What about this 4K support? I’m pretty sure I was able to use 4K 6 years ago already with the original. This “remaster” also comes with all the previous DLC, a new overkill campaign mode and some updated graphics, which it better have at the least when they ask nearly 50€ for it.
But hey, the pre-order gives you Duke Nukem with worse animations than the current Mass Effect: Andromeda. To top it all off, it’s using Denuvo DRM…they didn’t learn with GFWL back in the day it seems. Now, Denuvo is currently not as bad as people make it out to be, but lets see what that looks like in 5-10 years when their activation servers are offline.
As you can probably tell, I’m really not a fan of this, the original game is perfectly fine and didn’t need any of this, but sadly it’s not available on steam anymore…go figure.
