World of Warships – Yet More Teasing
Wargaming has just released 12 new screenshots from the upcoming World of Warships F2P game based around Warships in World War 2 era. The game will follow the same format as World of Tanks and World of Warplanes.
While no official release date has been set yet for World of Warships, an increasing number of good looking screenshots seem to be making their way towards the official Facebook page of the game. Wargaming.net, who is developing World of Warships, is known for World of Tanks and World of Warplanes. The latter of which is still in beta.
What is known so far is that World of Warships will feature diverse tactical gameplay as players are used to from World of Tanks and the economy system will be shared between all three titles on your universal Wargaming.net account (restricted to the same region of each of the three games). As explained by Wargaming "and the common economic system will give you an option to distribute your resources between the three projects for ultimate progress in each of them."
In addition, we also know that the game will feature at least four different ship types which includes Aircraft Carriers, Battleships, Heavy Cruisers, and Light Destroyers. Each ship will have a unique combination of firepower, speed, armour, and endurance. As well as the variety through the warships, the battles themselves are advertised to have changing weather conditions (presumably between the different maps) and realistic graphics.
So be sure to check out the all the screenshots below.
